“Quaint little pub with car park. We couldn’t find a menu anywhere so here is the May 2025 menu for those of you who are interested. Plus they have the board specials. Food was good. Could be a little more imaginative for vegetarians and vegans though. Limited red wine. A choice of only three but I guess as they’re out in the sticks, they need to limit stock. I can understand. Lady who waited on us was very friendly. I can recommend this pub.”

“Booked due to location for work and previous reviews. A lovely typical English country pub. the hosts made me feel very welcome..I arrived in the middle of storm Herminia...there wasn't going to be any food places open but the landlady said don't worry I have some lasagne left over with garlic bread, I'll bring it to your room". Now that is great service...thank you very much......”

“What a beautiful little village. Very quiet and the locals are very friendly. Nicky the landlady was exceptional, very warm, jolly and friendly on our arrival. Nothing was to much effort. We loved taking part in the local quiz night which takes part on the first sunday of the month. Look forward to staying again one day.”
